Lost Wagers: Guestbook

Really, really nice tracks, licks, lyrics, and vocals. I also thought I heard some horns in there somewhere. Having known and worked with Duane, and having enjoyed David Grissom as a client for years, i am happy to personally know another really talented artist. Thank you for adding such quality music to the experience of those who are fortunate enough to know you.

"Sapphire", I enjoyed the complexity of both the lyric and the music. On all of your pieces there is an absence of trite, repetitive phrases, too, that's a welcome change. "Lead Footed Woman", I hear the admiration in your voice for her little bit of a wild side. I can almost feel the motion of that big old, apple red, mid century Pontiac convertible rocking along some coastal highway at warp speed, top down and the ends of her chiffon scarf blowing back in the wind. Wish I had known about your music years ago, but the CD is on its way to make up for time lost.

Don't know if you remember, but you told me about your website at your Kyle office on 11/17 as we talked about Art Blakey & other jazz greats. Have looked & listened & thoroughly enjoyed!

Just good ole music, you can't beat it with a stick! Keep up the hard work and just keep spilling your heart into it. "Play on brother; play on........"

Congratulations, Scott, the CD is a wonderful accomplishment! Having known you as long as I have, it's particularly interesting to hear such a varied range of writing and performing styles and influences you've woven into it. It will hold up well to repeated listening; and I'm looking forward to hearing new things in it each time.
